Tendertec has graduated from the Digital Catapult’s Things Connected Innovation Programme.

Tendertec is one of the 30 companies invited to participate to the Programme, and one the 11 companies to complete it and pitch at its Innovation Showcase.

This was the second Things Connected innovation programme of its kind. This time around it involved considerable input from client organisations – Croydon Council, Friends of the Elderly, and Golding Homes. The selected companies participating to the Programme had the opportunity to work closely with them, getting a deeper understanding of their business challenges and opportunities for Internet of Things to help.

The graduating companies completed a 6-week program which focused on a number of topics presented by the leading companies and experts in the field. The external experts which contributed to the Programme were:

As the grand finale of the Things Connected Innovation Programme, the Digital Catapult hosted an Innovation Showcase at the end of November 2017. The showcase audience included representatives from a dozen Local Authorities, plus Housing Associations, Care Homes, service providers and charities all involved in the Housing and Care sectors across the UK.

As part of the showcase, each of the innovators that completed the programme were invited to give a 5-minute pitch to the audience, which were very well received.

The programme would not have been the enriching experience it has been for Tendertec without the effort of Mark Stanley and the contributions of the multidisciplinary Digital Catapult team.
